A Soldier’s Dilemma

July 7, 2017 § Leave a comment

My might is right and mark true
The sword I wield, a life I take
I swell with pride, even as it devours my soul.
The wrath and loathe go hand in hand
Until the day I’m buried in sand.
Will death set me free, I wonder
And if so, did I set those others free too?

Essence: A soldier’s right to forgiveness
